Shilpa Shirodkar reveals she didn't land the role in Chaiyya Chaiyya.

In tonight's episode of Bigg Boss 18, Shilpa Shirodkar chats with Karanveer Mehra and Chum Daran, reminiscing about when Farah Khan reached out to her for the iconic song 'Chaiyya Chaiyya' featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Malaika Arora. She mentioned, "Farah came to me about Chaiyya Chaiyya." Shilpa also shared that Farah suggested she lose some weight to be part of the track. However, after about a week or so, Farah decided not to go with her for the song.

Karan Veer Mehra was curious and asked Shilpa if she didn’t get the role because she hadn’t lost weight. Shilpa replied that Farah had told her, "You’re too fat for the song." Karan burst out laughing as Shilpa mentioned that Malaika Arora ended up being cast alongside Shah Rukh Khan for that song. She added that only Farah and the film's director, Mani Ratnam, could explain why she was passed over for the part.

On another note, this week’s nominated contestants from the Bigg Boss 18 house include Shilpa Shirodkar, Sara Arfeen Khan, Chum Darang, Kashish Kapoor, Digvijay Rathee, and Karan Veer Mehra.
