As the conclusion of the Salman Khan-hosted show Bigg Boss 18 approaches, the level of competition among the contestants intensifies. In the lead-up to the grand finale, Kashish Kapoor, who joined the house as a wild card contestant, was eliminated during the recent Weekend Ka Vaar episode. Following her departure, there are now nine contestants remaining in the house. It has been reported that additional evictions are expected this week. In the midst of the finale preparations, tensions appear to be rising between Karan Veer Mehra and Shilpa Shirodkar, as evidenced by a newly released promo in which he confronts her regarding their friendship. Karan Veer Mehra questions Shilpa Shirodkar over their friendship

Karan Veer, Shilpa, and Chum Darang have maintained a close relationship since the inception of the show, and their camaraderie is highly appreciated by the audience. Previously, Shilpa had shown support for Vivian Dsena; however, she ultimately decided to align herself with Karan Veer. In a recent promotional clip, Karan questions Shilpa about whether she feels embarrassed by their friendship. The clip opens with Karan stating, "Are you feeling ashamed of being my friend? The entire world has come to me saying, 'She is doing this, she is doing that.' Yet, I affirmed my commitment to a friend."

Additionally, while imitating Shilpa's words, he remarked, "I have been giving Karan 50 days of my time, and I have been apologizing to Vivian for three days regarding that matter. I have made it clear that I will not allow anyone to take me for granted. However, I will not maintain a superficial friendship." The promotional video concludes with Shilpa appearing emotional as she lies on her bed.

Bigg Boss 18 new promo is out

Sharing the promo with fans on Instagram, the makers wrote, "Duniya ke against jaa kar, Karan ne hamesha liya tha Shilpa ke liye stand. Lekin kya iss dosti par Shilpa hai ashamed?" Have a look:

Following the release of the promotional material, fans expressed their agreement with Karan's perspective. One fan remarked, "Karan is entirely justified in questioning Shilpa Shirodkar's motives. She seems fixated on reconciling with Vivian, despite his lack of regard for her. At the very least, Shilpa should maintain some self-respect! You are surrounded by genuine friendships; why pursue a superficial relationship with Vivian? He abandoned you at the first opportunity, indicating he was never sincere." Another fan added, "Shilpa has brought this upon herself... she has always desired to be with Vivian, but for the sake of the game, she aligned herself with Karan... Karan's actions were warranted."
