Khatron Ke Khiladi 14's grand finale, hosted by Rohit Shetty, was a star-studded affair. All contestants of KKK 14 were in attendance as the reality show's journey headed for its conclusion. Karan Veer Mehra was declared as Khatron Ke Khiladi 14's winner whereas Krishna Shroff became the first runner-up and Gashmee Mahajani the second runner-up. During KKK 14's finale, host and filmmaker Rohit Shetty revealed that Nia Sharma is the first confirmed contestant of Bigg Boss 18.

Nia Sharma, Bharti Singh, and Kashmera Shah made a special appearance at Khatron Ke Khiladi 14's grand finale. Actress Alia Bhatt and her Jigra co-star Vedang Raina were also present to promote their movie. During the finale episode of KKK 14, hos and filmmaker Rohit Shetty made a surprising revelation.
He mentioned that someone present on the set was going to be a part of Salman Khan-hosted reality show Bigg Boss 18. Later, Shetty announced Nia Sharma being the first confirmed contestant of BB 18. It was followed by Nia requesting Bigg Boss 17 and KKK 14 contestant Abhishek Kumar to wish her well. And the actor promised to support her.
For the uninitiated, Nia was rumoured to be doing Bigg Boss for its previous seasons as well. However, whenever her name was speculated, the actress denied her participation. She was also rumoured to be a part of Bigg Boss 11. But she dismissed the speculation and told PTI, "I don't know how my name started appearing everywhere but I don't entertain such news."

Meanwhile, the theme of Bigg Boss 18 is 'time ka tandav', where BB will keep an eye on contestants' future. The reality show will premiere on October 6 at 9 pm on Colors TV and stream on JioCinema. To be hosted by Salman Khan, the reality might feature Muskan Bamne, Nyrraa Banerji, Avinash Mishra, Shoaib Ibrahim, and Shehzada Dhami as contestants.
