Actor Karan Veer Mehra's life has undergone a significant transformation since he emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss 18. His personal affairs have attracted considerable attention, with ongoing speculation regarding his romantic relationship with Chum Darang, alongside persistent rumors of a rivalry with fellow contestant Vivian Dsena. The actor has expressed that he is concentrating on the affection he is receiving following his victory.

Recently, the actor visited Delhi to inaugurate the Anytime Fitness center in Greater Noida, where he engaged in a conversation with Hindustan Times about his experiences post-victory, as well as his relationships with Chum Darang and Vivian Dsena.

On life after Bigg Boss 18

Karan Veer was declared the champion of Bigg Boss 18 in January of this year. In addition to the prestigious trophy, the actor received a cash prize of ₹50 lakh.

Reflecting on his life post-show, Karan Veer states, “My life has undergone significant changes, to be honest. Following Bigg Boss 18, I have gained an incredible fan community. The outpouring of love and attention has been overwhelming. My supporters express that it feels like a personal victory for them, and when they encounter me, their enthusiasm makes me feel like I am part of their family. I truly value that.”

Karan is well aware of the challenges posed by the digital landscape, where he encounters a mix of hate messages alongside the affection and admiration from his supporters. Nevertheless, he remains undeterred by the negativity.

“I am immune to negativity. While I cannot alter people's opinions, I focus on my work and maintaining my fitness. This approach helps me stay grounded and positive,” he conveys.

On getting the prize money

Last month, Karan mentioned that he was still anticipating the arrival of his prize money in his account, even a month after the conclusion of the show. Providing an update on the situation, Karan stated, “Indeed, the process is underway, but the affection I have received far surpasses any monetary award. I am profoundly grateful and deeply moved by it.”

What types of offers have you been receiving following your time on Bigg Boss?

“I am inundated with offers and opportunities. However, my next move is crucial: I aim to astonish my fans with something significant. So, stay tuned,” he suggested.

On bond with fellow housemates

Since his departure from the house, Karan has been in the spotlight due to his close relationship with Chum Darang, leading to widespread speculation regarding a potential romantic involvement between the two.

Compounding the situation, rumors of a growing rivalry between Karan and Vivian have emerged, particularly as tensions appeared to rise when Vivian's wife, Nouran Aly, excluded Karan from the guest list for their post-show celebration. Karan secured the trophy ahead of Vivian.

Nevertheless, Karan maintains that he has amicable relationships with all the contestants, stating, “We all share a Bigg Boss 18 WhatsApp group, and I have a very nice relationship with all the contestants.”

Regarding his connection with Chum, Karan remarked, “Speculation is speculation, but at the moment, we are both focused on our work and future commitments.”

On coming to Delhi

Last week, Karan visited Delhi for the inauguration of the Anytime Fitness center in Greater Noida. His trips to Delhi hold a special significance for him.

"I was born and raised in Delhi, so recounting my memories would take quite a while! It feels like returning home every time. Although I spend the majority of my time in Mumbai for work, Delhi will always have a place in my heart. Every location here possesses its unique charm," he concluded.
