After a period of silence, Eisha has now responded to this comment, expressing that she felt genuinely hurt by it, particularly because it was Rajat who made the statement. The actress elaborated on the specific reasons for her distress. Here is her explanation.

Eisha Singh hurt by the maid remark

Eisha has expressed that Rajat's comment caused her distress. "I felt hurt because perhaps I do not voice such things," she shared with Siddharth Kannan during an interview.

While articulating her feelings, Eisha emphasized that her previous silence stemmed from her preference for private discussions over public statements. She attempted to downplay the video by referring to it as 'roasting' and affirmed her respect for her relationship with Rajat. "I am the type of sister who, if something bothers me, will communicate it to him privately and respectfully," she clarified, suggesting that Rajat may have been adhering to a script when making his comment. Eisha also indicated that she may have already spoken directly to Rajat about her feelings of disappointment, but she is determined not to let the video jeopardize their bond.

Rajat Dalal's maid comment

Rajat appeared on Elvish Yadav's podcast, during which he made a controversial remark regarding women. He stated that men often marry women like Eisha because they seek a domestic helper. He remarked, "Bhai, people marry such girls so that they do not need a maid. She will handle the dishes well," which incited significant backlash from Eisha's supporters, as well as from those who were already displeased with Rajat's conduct both within and outside of Bigg Boss 18.

This comment aligns with a previous statement made by fellow contestant Chaahat Pandey, who claimed that Avinash Mishra had taken on the role of a servant to Eisha Singh, highlighting instances such as him ironing her clothes while in the Bigg Boss 18 house.
