Munawar Faruqui is back in the news! The stand-up comedian, who won Bigg Boss 17, has hit the headlines again regarding his personal life. The latest buzz is that Munawar has got married again. He was earlier married to a woman, with whom he has a son Mikael. Faruqui got divorced from his ex-wife in 2022. And according to a Times Now report, the Bigg Boss 17 winner got married for the second time around 10 to 12 days ago. His wedding reception was reportedly held on May 26, 2024.
Munawar Faruqui gets married again?
Speaking about Munawar Faruqui's second wedding, a source told the publication, "Yes, Munawar is now married. Usne shaadi kar li hai. Woh yeh sab under wraps rakhna chahta hai tabhi koi khass pictures bhi nahi milega apko (He got married. He wants to keep it under wraps; hence, you would not find any pictures of the two)."
As per the source, only the near and dear ones of the couple were present at the wedding ceremony, which was a close-knit affair. The report further mentioned that a social media page suggests Munawar got married to a make-up artist Mehzabeen Coatwala.
While Munawar apparently got married two weeks ago, his wedding reception reportedly took place on May 26 at ITC Grand Maratha. The report also suggests Hina Khan was among the few people invited to Faruqui's wedding celebrations. Khan had earlier shared a picture on her Instagram stories with the Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai song as the background music.
Munawar Faruqui's past relationships
Before reportedly getting married to Mehzabeen, Munawar was in a relationship with Nazila. The stand-up comedian and Nazila dated for a few years before calling it quits. On Bigg Boss 17, a girl named Ayesha Khan accused him of double-dating her and Nazila. This led to several shocking revelations from Nazila, Munawar and Ayesha's side.
That said, Munawar has a son from his first marriage. As far as the news of his second marriage is concerned, there's no confirmation by the BB 17 winner yet.
