Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is facing a particularly unique challenge. Although he boasts 49 million followers on X, he is finding it difficult to surpass the "follower ceiling" and boost his numbers. He is amusingly exasperated that none of the suggestions from his fans have proven effective thus far.
Amitabh Bachchan's follower woes
On Monday, Amitabh shared a cheerful post on X, previously known as Twitter, where he humorously noted that his follower count remained unchanged despite his active online presence. He playfully sought advice from his fans on how to increase his numbers.
"We're making a significant effort, but the count of 49 million followers just won't budge. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know," Amitabh expressed.
His request ignited a wave of amusing responses. Fans inundated him with a variety of ideas, ranging from creating reels and bloopers to collaborating with Jaya Bachchan or organizing an X meet-and-greet.
“@grok please assist him,” one user tweeted, while another suggested, “Show Sooryavansham live.”
“Follow me, sir; I will certainly follow you back,” another fan commented. One social media user advised, “Start following everyone back like John Cena; your following will increase automatically.” Another tweet suggested, “Try posting couple content... It tends to reach a wider audience.”
Amitabh Bachchan shared another update, acknowledging that despite his sincere attempts, none of the strategies proposed by fans appeared to be effective, leaving him still in the same position.
"I appreciate everyone who provided examples on how to grow followers. I regret to inform you that not a single one has proven successful," he stated.
