Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner came together this Thanksgiving to give back and celebrate the holiday as a family, drawing closer than ever. The former spouses, who are parents to three children—Violet, 19, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12—began their day by volunteering at the Midnight Mission in downtown Los Angeles.

Dressed in matching aprons and gloves, Affleck and Garner dedicated several hours to serving meals to the homeless community in Skid Row. The organization later commended the duo on social media for their kindness, warmth, and commitment. Following their volunteer work, Ben joined Jennifer and their children for a home-cooked Thanksgiving dinner at her residence.

Although both have pursued other relationships since their divorce—Ben married Jennifer Lopez in 2022 before their separation earlier this year, and Jennifer has been in a long-term relationship with John Miller—their bond remains strong.

Affleck's transformation brings him closer to Garner

In recent months, the former couple has traveled to Japan, celebrated Ben's 52nd birthday, and accompanied Violet to Yale University as she embarks on her freshman year. Their strong co-parenting dynamic has led some to speculate about the possibility of a romantic reconciliation.

"Ben and Jen are more connected than ever," a source informed Life & Style. "They have cultivated a mutual respect and a deeper friendship that was previously absent. This has prompted some friends to wonder if they might be on the path to reuniting."

It is worth noting that after battling alcohol addiction for many years, the Batman actor has "sought the necessary help, achieved sobriety, remarried, and is now facing another divorce."

"He has made significant strides in his personal development, and he is a much-improved individual as a result. This is what Jen has always wished for him," the source remarked.

Jennifer Garner has recognized his advancements, and as per the source, "She has observed his progress and transformation, which has altered her feelings towards him." Furthermore, it was noted, "It is well-known that Ben considers Jen to be the best thing that ever happened to him."

Ben has candidly referred to their separation as "the biggest regret of my life" and acknowledged that his drinking contributed to their difficulties. Despite the obstacles, Jennifer once expressed to Vanity Fair that she would choose to marry him again, stating, "He’s the love of my life. What am I going to do about that?"
