Ben Affleck, the Academy Award-winning actor and producer who co-founded the company Artists Equity with his longtime friend Matt Damon, is said to be considering casting his former wife, Jennifer Garner, in an upcoming film project. According to sources who spoke to DailyMail.com, the ex-spouses have reportedly become "closer" in recent months, which has prompted Affleck's interest in collaborating with Garner professionally once more.

A source disclosed to the media outlet, “Ben has a multitude of ideas swirling in his mind; he believes he knows precisely how to guide her.” The insider elaborated, “He is convinced that her genuine talents have yet to be fully recognized, and he considers himself the producer capable of providing her with the appropriate material. She possesses the ability to excel in both drama and comedy, leading him to believe there are numerous opportunities to showcase her skills.”

Affleck and Garner previously appeared together in Pearl Harbor in 2001 and Daredevil in 2003, and they are now seeking to collaborate once more on a new film. This development follows his casting of his former wife, Jennifer Lopez, in Unstoppable and Kiss of the Spider Woman, as well as his production of her musical project, This Is Me... Now. He and Lopez first crossed paths on the set of Gigli, a film filmed in 2001 but released in 2003, which marked the beginning of their highly publicized relationship.

Garner is ‘afraid to fall back in love’ with Affleck

Since the divorce of the latter, Garner and Affleck have been spending a considerable amount of time together. They were recently seen sharing an embrace while taking two of their children for a paintball outing in Los Angeles. However, the Daily Mail has reported a significant concern: the actress from 13 Going 30 is “deathly afraid of falling back in love” with the actor known for his role in The Batman. She continues to grapple with “trust issues” stemming from an incident a decade ago when Affleck was involved with their children's nanny, Christine Ouzounian.
