As 2024 approaches its conclusion, it has been reported that Affleck is once again seeking Garner's assistance—this time in his quest to find a new romantic partner who is more "grounded and mature" following his divorce from Jennifer Lopez.

The insider further noted that Affleck aspires to date someone who is “grounded and mature,” and Garner appears willing to assist, as she desires his happiness.

A source revealed to Daily Mail that Affleck is committed to prioritizing his recovery, particularly in light of his previous struggles with alcoholism, which had a detrimental impact on his marriage to Garner. “He is not going to jeopardize his sobriety,” the insider stated.

While Garner initially provided support as Affleck dealt with his divorce, the emotional toll of the situation eventually became overwhelming for her. “Jen eventually reached a point where she said, ‘Sorry, you need to handle this on your own,’” another source remarked.

Ultimately, “It is not Jen’s circus, nor her monkeys, and she is finished,” the insider concluded.
