Just ahead of Christmas, the 52-year-old has been seen sharing family moments with Garner, 52, which shows the friendly bond they've kept since their split. They also got together for Thanksgiving, sparking more talk about their continued friendship after his divorce from Jennifer Lopez.

Affleck is feeling good about things with Garner this holiday season

A source shared with Star, “Now that Ben is getting back into his groove, he’s feeling pretty good about himself. Spending the holidays with Jen Garner and the kids has really helped him feel like everything is back on track.”

Regarding their friendship, the source mentioned, “Even though Ben and Jen have been apart for a while, he still finds comfort in her presence. Their bond is strong and won’t fade away since they have so much history and she’s the mother of his children.”

The insider also noted, “They’ll always stay close because of their kids and have a solid co-parenting relationship,” as reported by OK! Magazine.

The former couple was seen hanging out during a lunch date at their SoHo House in California on December 22. According to a source, Lopez and Affleck will always have a special bond. The insider told US Weekly, “J.Lo has spent the night at Ben’s a few times. When things are good, they’re really great, but when they’re not, it can get pretty rough. They really enjoy each other’s company as friends. If their relationship is better now that they’re apart, that could be a reason for the divorce to happen.”
