Bella Ramsey raved about her friendship with Pedro Pascal in a recent Buzzfeed interview. When talking about the changes in Ellie and Joel's relationship in The Last of Us, the 21-year-old confirmed that she and her co-star are still really close friends.

In a YouTube interview released on Monday, Ramsey chatted about the popular drama series while playing with cute puppies. When asked about filming with Pascal during Ellie and Joel's rocky relationship, they admitted it felt a bit sad. However, the Game of Thrones star pointed out that 'Bella and Pedro's dynamic didn't change.'

They mentioned the five-year age gap between Ellie and Joel, saying, 'They're definitely not the best of friends anymore, and you'll see why as the second season unfolds.'

Ramsey added, 'Yeah, it's a bummer not being best buds with Joel. But luckily, Pedro and I are still tight.' They reflected on how in Season one, Pedro was a constant support for them on set, which was really comforting. Ramsey also shared a funny moment from Season 1 that made them laugh during filming, specifically a scene with Joel, Tess, and Ellie's first encounter.

'There was this one line Anna just couldn't get right,' they remembered, noting that once something is funny, it tends to get funnier every time. When discussing how they nailed Ellie's American accent, they admitted, 'Some words are really tricky,' and mentioned that 'away' is a word they often have to re-record.
