The behind-the-scenes documentary titled RRR: Behind & Beyond, which explores the production of SS Rajamouli’s 2022 film featuring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, premiered on Netflix on December 27. A particular moment between the two lead actors has garnered significant attention.

Worried Ram Charan hugs Jr NTR

A pivotal scene in the film depicts Ram’s character, Rama Raju, an officer of the Indian Imperial Police, publicly whipping Jr NTR’s character, Bheem, from the Gond tribe. In the film, this act is performed with a spiked whip while Bheem sings the well-known song, Komaram Bheemudo. However, the documentary reveals that Ram Charan was merely pretending to whip Jr NTR with a prop. The apparent force of the prop striking Jr NTR’s chest visibly concerns Ram, who immediately hugs his co-star once the scene concludes. Jr NTR reassures him by shaking his head, indicating that he is unharmed.

Fans expressed their delight at witnessing their camaraderie, with one fan sharing the clip on X (formerly Twitter) and commenting, “Korada NTR Ki Gettiga Tagilindemo Ani Charan Vachi NTR Ni (hug emoji) Chesukovadam (Ram Charan hugged Jr NTR worried that the whip hurt him).” Another fan remarked, “Asalu me eddari bonding nijam while I'm watching this... my eyes filled with tears. Additionally, many noted Ram's concern for Jr NTR, even though he was using a prop. One fan commented, “Ee video trailer ki mundhe making video lo vadhili unte verela undevi dymanics! But e episode reveal avvodhani cheyyaledhu anukunta..Promotional Events lo emotional ga okari gurinchi okaru endhuku mattadukunnaro arthamavthondhi..Pure Brotherly Bond. (I think they did not reveal this moment before so as not to reveal the story. I understand now why they were so emotional with each other during promotional events.)”
