Bebika Dhurve rose to fame with her participation in Bigg Boss OTT 2. The reality show, which Elvish Yadav won, had Bebika as one of the top five finalists. Over a year after doing BB OTT 2, Bebika took up another reality show, Reality Ranis of the Jungle. It is a series where 12 women trade their luxurious lifestyle for an off-grid adventure in the jungle. As the show recently went on air, OTTplay interviewed Bebika, who revealed a major for doing Reality Ranis of the Jungle.

In conversation with us, Bebika revealed she did Reality Ranis of the Jungle because she wanted to break the beauty standard barrier. The reality show contestant believes people of all shapes and sizes are beautiful and powerful.

"I wanted to defy science, odds, and people's narrow-minded thought process that certain body types can do certain things. People of all shapes and sizes are beautiful, strong, powerful, and miraculous. I wanted to break the beauty standard barrier. And I was like I have to do this for all of them. There's a massive population and a community of people of different shapes and sizes out there like me. I am doing it for them; not just for myself," she told OTTplay.

Continuing this conversation, Bebika admitted she was scared of this reality show. She recalled watching Man vs Wild and I Survived Bear Grylls before doing Reality Ranis of the Jungle. However, "It turned out to be difficult compared to what I thought. It's not just about eating meat or picking heavy stuff or doing a few challenges, there's a lot of running in the woods. And for a body (physique) like mine which is heavy, running is very challenging," added Bebika.
