Basil Joseph, the talented actor-filmmaker is teaming up with popular actress Nazriya Nazim, for his next outing in Malayalam cinema. The project, which has been titled Sookshmadarshini, is directed by newcomer MC Jithin. The highly anticipated project marks Nazriya’s comeback to the industry after a long gap of over 4 years. As per the recent updates, the team wrapped up the shooting of Sookshmadarshini, recently. The lead pair of Sookshmadarshini, Basil Joseph and Nazriya Nazim announced the project’s wrap, by sharing a series of fun BTS pictures from the location, on social media. “It’s a wrap... Oh n what a journey...” wrote Nazriya, who shared the BTS pictures on her Instagram story. Later, the actress shared a fun picture with co-star Basil with a caption, that reads: “Frandsss.... @ibasiljoseph,” From the BTS pictures, it is safe to assume that Sookshmadarshini is going to be an out-and-out comedy-drama, that revolves around the characters played by the duo.

Later, the team also dropped an entertaining BTS video from the location of Sookshmadarshini, on social media. In the lovely video, Basil Joseph, Nazriya Nazim, and the entire team were seen wrapping up the film on a high note. Later, they celebrated together with an intimate wrap party at the location of the film. The video also showcases some fun moments featuring the lead pair Basil and Nazriya and hints that the duo’s exceptional onscreen chemistry is going to be the highlight of the film.

The MC Jithin directorial, which is touted to be a fun-filled entertainer, reportedly features Basil Joseph and Nazriya Nazim in never-seen-before avatars. Sidharth Bharathan, Deepak Parambol, Akhila Bhargavan, Kottayam Ramesh, Merin Philip, Pooja Mohanraj, Manohari Joy, Gopan Mangat, and others essay the supporting roles in the film. Sharan Velayudhan is the director of photography. Christo Xavier is composing the songs and the original score. Sookshmadarshini is produced by Sameer Thahir, Shyju Khalid, and A V Anoop under the banners of Happy Hours Entertainments and AVA Productions.
