Television star Barkha Bisht recently talked about her split from Indraneil Sen Gupta and responded to claims that she cheated on him with Karan Veer Mehra. In a chat with Siddharth Kanan, Barkha shared that she faced online backlash after backing Karan during Bigg Boss 18.

When asked about her relationship status, Barkha said she’s not seeing anyone. She also addressed rumors about dating Ashish Sharma, stating, “I know what people are saying. But as I mentioned, there are some really special people in my life, like Karan Veer Mehra. At one point, there were even claims that Karan Veer and I were involved. I faced a lot of trolling for it, especially when I went to support him on Bigg Boss. People were quick to say that my marriage fell apart because I was always talking about Karan.”

She mentioned, "In the past, I shared a lot of pictures with Karan. Someone commented, ‘How does her husband let her do all this?’ And Ashish is a really close friend of mine; we've known each other for ages. We really connected when I needed support the most. People are saying we’re dating, but I’ve never hidden my relationships. When I’m seriously seeing someone, I’ve always been open about it."

For those who don’t know, Barkha and Shilpa Shinde showed their support for Karan Veer during a press conference for Bigg Boss 18. After Karan won the show, Barkha posted a selfie with him, where he was giving her a kiss on the cheek. She wrote, “The winner takes it all… after months of facing negativity, you’ve come out stronger, better, and more positive than ever, yet still the same old Mehra… So happy to have you back, my bestie @karanveermehra #bigboss18 #winner.”

Barkha and Indraneil's romance kicked off while filming Pyaar Ke Do Naam. After a short dating phase, they tied the knot in March 2008. Unfortunately, after 14 years of marriage, they parted ways in 2022. They have a 13-year-old daughter together named Meira.
