Barkha Bisht Opens Up About Her First Heartbreak with Karan Singh Grover

Actor Barkha Bisht recently reminisced about her past relationship with actor Karan Singh Grover. In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, she disclosed that as time progressed, their outlooks and philosophies on life began to differ, which ultimately resulted in their breakup.
Barkha and Karan collaborated on the 2004 teen drama Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi and were in a relationship for nearly two years.

Reflecting on her time with Karan, Barkha stated, “We were together for two years. Karan was a genuinely kind individual, which drew me to him. His natural kindness stood out to me, especially since kindness is not always common in Mumbai. Whenever I encounter kindness, I feel a connection. He was also very attractive—those six-pack abs! I was just 23 at the time! As the years went by, we evolved into different individuals. It was my first heartbreak in Mumbai."
Discussing their separation, Barkha explained, “There was nothing specifically wrong; our views and perspectives on life simply diverged. He was also two years younger than me, and as we matured during those two years, that age difference became more pronounced—that was the issue. I still hold fond memories of him and wish him all the best in his life."

As for their current situations, Karan is now married to actor Bipasha Basu, and they welcomed a daughter, Devi, in 2022. On the other hand, Barkha was previously married to actor Indraneil Sengupta. Their romance began on the set of Pyaar Ke Do Naam, and after a brief courtship, they married in March 2008. However, they parted ways in 2022 after 14 years of marriage and share a 13-year-old daughter named Meira.
Recently, Barkha disclosed that her ex-husband had been unfaithful during their marriage.
