Following this announcement, Manoj took to his X account to reference the journalist from the publication, expressing his surprise with the remark, “Kab hua ye?” (When did this happen?). He further quoted another source, humorously questioning, “Hahaha kaha se ye khabar shuru hote hai bhai?” (Where do these news originate from?).

Manoj and Kay Kay have worked alongside Neeraj Pandey on several occasions.
Bajpayee appeared in the director's 2013 period heist thriller, Special 26, as well as the 2018 spy thriller, Aiyaary. He will once again portray the character of Srikant Tiwari, a middle-class individual who leads a dual life as an intelligence officer for the Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (TASC), a fictional entity within the National Investigation Agency.
In a recent discussion with Variety, Manoj Bajpayee characterized Season 3 as more expansive and intricate. “Season 3 is going to be significantly larger, and the narrative is much more complex this time,” he remarked. “Srikant Tiwari finds himself in a much more challenging situation, and he must navigate his way out—not only to protect himself but also to safeguard his family and his career.”
