Raj Chakraborty, Subhasree Ganguly, and Abir Chatterjee are all set with their film, Babli. Based on Buddhadeb Guha’s novel, the film will be dropped on August 15. The trailer was dropped on Saturday and the team is currently busy promoting the film.  

Bengali people love biryani so much that they can easily forget their diet for it. Raj, Subhasree, and Abir also showed their love for biryani. They went to D Bapi to taste the cuisine. 

The trio went for their film Babli's promotion. Raj was spotted in a black tee shirt. Abir too wore a casual shirt. Subhasree donned a yellow saree with a flower tucked in her ear. They were welcomed with flowers on the red carpet. The promotion went on along with the food. 

Babli, a romantic story, is based on Buddhadeb Guha's novel. The director announced the film in January and released the teaser on the Bengali New Year. The trailer came out on Saturday. Sauraseni Maitra plays an important role in the film. 

Babli, in the story, is not a fairy, but rather a girl of flesh and blood who has jealousy, sadness, and immense love. Subhasree matched with the spirit. Abir played Abhi, the male lead. Sauraseni played Jhuma. The film will be released on August 15.
