In a recent conversation, Babil reminisced about a specific event, stating, "I once tossed my phone into the Andaman Ocean. I received a call while I was scuba diving, and I responded, ‘I am currently diving, what do you need?’ The caller insisted, ‘You need to return; you have a brand commitment to fulfill.’ I replied, ‘Alright, I’ll be back in five minutes.’ Then, without hesitation, I threw my phone into the ocean. I’m not joking; this really happened."

‘I live life on my own terms’

He proceeded to elaborate on the subsequent events. “What repercussions? I navigate life according to my own principles, and no one can hinder me from doing so. I embrace every moment fully, experiencing a wide range of emotions. I cry, I feel anger, and I react to that anger as well. Although I am naturally reserved, I do not shy away from fully engaging in my life,” he stated.

In the film Logout, Babil portrays the character of an influencer. Directed by Amit Golani and produced by Vipin Agnihotri, with a screenplay by Biswapati Sarkar, this cyber thriller delves into the darker aspects of digital celebrity and the mental strain associated with an online existence. The cast also includes Rasika Dugal, Gandharv Dewan, and Nimisha Nair in significant roles. Logout premiered on ZEE5 on April 18.
