BTS member Jimin recently reached out to the ARMY with a sincere letter, expressing his thoughts and experiences as he welcomes the new year. In this poignant message, Jimin shared insights from his military service, including late-night discussions with Jungkook, his daily activities, and contemplations on his personal journey.

Jimin shares his life in the military

Jimin commenced his letter to his fans by reflecting on his military service since his enlistment in December 2023. He stated, “Greetings, ARMY, this is Jimin. I enlisted in December of the year prior to last, and before I realized it, two years have swiftly elapsed.” He further noted, “I have been serving in the military for approximately one year and two months now. Indeed… time appears to flow differently in this environment.”

The artist expressed his eagerness for the moment he can engage with his fans and provided insight into his daily military life. He mentioned, “Although it is challenging, I have been acquiring knowledge and undergoing various experiences, and I eagerly anticipate the day when I can discuss everything that has transpired here with all of you. My daily routine remains quite consistent. Being in the military, my days are filled with training, work, and exercise, and before I realize it, the day concludes, leading me to sleep once more.” He remarked, “It is a repetitive routine,” as reported by Koreaboo.

Jimin reveals his conversations with Jungkook

In his correspondence, Jimin expressed his heartfelt reflections on the significant discussions he shared with Jungkook before retiring for the night. As both are part of the “Companion Soldiers” buddy system, they are serving their military duties together. The duo frequently engages in conversations about their aspirations for reuniting with BTS and the experiences they wish to convey to their fans upon their return.

Jimin noted, “One notable change is that since the beginning of the year, the nature of the conversations Jungkook and I have before sleep has evolved significantly. With the days until we can meet ARMY drawing nearer, we have been discussing extensively what we need to prepare prior to our reunion, the image we wish to project, and the lifestyle we intend to embrace moving forward.”

While they are filled with anticipation, Jimin candidly acknowledged a sense of apprehension, recognizing that it has been some time since they last performed as a group, rendering the transition both thrilling and somewhat intimidating. He remarked, “To be honest, there is a slight fear. It has been quite a while since we all performed together, and I have not fully immersed myself in music and the stage for some time. Therefore, I do feel a bit anxious, but my resolve to deliver the best performance possible for all of you who have patiently awaited our return remains steadfast.” He further stated, “I will prepare diligently, truly… I will strive to return in excellent form.”

The Like Crazy artist concluded his letter with a message to the ARMY, expressing, “To our beloved ARMY, whom I miss dearly and for whom I am endlessly grateful, please remain healthy and find joy in your days until we meet again. I wish you abundant blessings in the new year, ARMY. I love you. Truly. No, I mean, I really do. Hehe.”
