BLACKPINK member Jennie has revealed the upcoming release of her debut studio album titled Ruby. She shared a short video on her YouTube channel, providing additional information about the album.

In the 33-second video, Jennie donned an ensemble featuring both white and black colours. Her long, vibrant red hair complemented her appearance. As she performed, the singer exhibited a range of expressions. The lyrics included: In the dark I grew, money cannot buy real friends.
Who will be part of the album?
Jennie has partnered with Childish Gambino, Dua Lipa, Doechii, Dominic Fike, FKJ, and Kali Uchis for her upcoming album. Titled Ruby, it is set to be released on March 7 of this year. The album will feature a total of 15 tracks spanning various genres, including her single "Mantra," which was released in October of the previous year.

Korea Joongang Daily, referencing her agency Odd Atelier (OA Entertainment), stated that the album "will demonstrate Jennie's boundless musical potential." Following its release in 2024, "Mantra" achieved the number one position on the iTunes Top Songs chart across 47 countries globally. Additionally, the track secured the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart for two consecutive weeks.
