B Praak criticizes Ranveer Allahbadia
During his appearance on Samay Raina's show, Ranveer Allahbadia was joined by Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh, and Apoorva Mukhija, collectively known as The Rebel Kid. All participants are currently embroiled in legal issues due to their controversial statements. In a video posted on Instagram, singer B Praak criticized Ranveer, stating that he had intended to join his podcast but has now withdrawn.
In the video, he remarked, "I was scheduled to be a guest on the Beer Biceps podcast, but we have decided to cancel. Why? Because we are witnessing the troubling nature of his thoughts. The language he employed on Samay Raina's show is not reflective of our Indian culture. What stories are you sharing about your parents? What discussions are you having? Is this comedy? This is certainly not a comedy. Insulting people and teaching others to use foul language—what kind of generation is this? I cannot comprehend it."
Accompanying the video, he added, "My humble request to all stand-up comedians: please preserve our Indian culture and show respect."

In the course of the episode, Ranveer posed the provocative question, "Would you prefer to witness your parents engage in sexual activity for the remainder of your life or participate once to bring it to a permanent halt?" Following the online dissemination of the video, social media users began to criticize him for his inappropriate comments. A formal complaint has been lodged against Allahbadia, Samay Raina, Apoorva Makhija, and the organizers of the program India’s Got Latent. Additionally, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis commented on the situation, stating that while freedom of expression is important, it does have its boundaries.
Following significant criticism, Ranveer issued an apology via social media on February 10. In the video, he expressed, "My remarks were not only inappropriate; they lacked humour as well. Comedy is not my strength. I am here solely to extend my apologies. Many of you have questioned whether this is how I intend to utilize my platform—clearly, it is not. I will refrain from offering any context, justification, or explanation for my actions. My sole purpose is to apologize. I experienced a lapse in judgment, and my behaviour was not acceptable."
