Mohit Malik is poised to embark on his Bollywood journey with the film Azaad, directed by Abhishek Kapoor. This project also serves as the acting debut for Raveena Tandon's daughter, Rasha Thadani, and Ajay Devgn's nephew, Aaman Devgan. In anticipation of the film's release in theatres, an exclusive interview was conducted with Mohit, during which he discussed certain traits that Rasha possesses, reminiscent of her mother, Raveena. Additionally, the actor provided insights into his character within the film.

In conversation with us, Mohit Malik said his Azaad co-star Rasha Thadani is humble and grounded. The actor further mentioned that the young actress is spiritually connected just like her mother Raveena Tandon.

She demonstrates a remarkable level of sensibility in her understanding of the scene. Her performance in the film belies the fact that it is her debut. Rasha exhibits exceptional talent and has dedicated significant effort to her craft. There is a genuine desire within her to learn and improve. I would assert that she possesses no sense of ego whatsoever, which I believe is a reflection of her upbringing, particularly from her mother, as noted by Mohit.

Additionally, the actor mentioned, "I have had the pleasure of meeting Raveena ma'am, and she is an incredibly grounded individual. Engaging in conversation with her does not evoke the impression that I am speaking to Raveena Tandon. She embodies humility, kindness, and warmth. Her demeanour is consistently welcoming, and she is always ready to offer praise, inspiration, and motivation."

In the same discussion, Mohit disclosed that he portrays the character of Tej in the film. "He embodies pure evil. He is filled with rage, violence, and bitterness. His narcissism is pronounced, and he exhibits megalomania. This role is unlike any I have undertaken before. Portraying him was challenging due to how distant he is from my own personality," Mohit stated.
