Despite this, the filmmaker shared a heartfelt note expressing gratitude to the cast and crew for helping him bring his dream project to life.

On Monday, Abhishek Kapoor took to Instagram to share behind-the-scenes moments from the making of Azaad. Along with the glimpses, the filmmaker wrote a heartfelt note: "Sapne hit ya flop nahi hote, saakaar hote hain (Dreams are not about hits or flops; they are about coming true). The story of Azaad is one I truly believed in, and bringing it to life is a dream fulfilled."
He also extended his gratitude to the film’s debutants, Rasha Thadani and Aaman Devgn, writing, "I wish my young talents, @rashathadani and @aamandevgan, the very best on their journey ahead. They have surpassed expectations, and the world is their oyster. I’m deeply thankful to every cast and crew member who worked tirelessly, pouring their hearts into every detail to realize this grand vision."
The filmmaker also expressed heartfelt gratitude to his wife for her patience and support throughout the journey. All About Azaad
Azaad marks the debut of Rasha Thadani and Aman Devgn, alongside Mohit Malik, Diana Penty, and Piyush Mishra in prominent roles, with Ajay Devgn making a cameo appearance. Set in pre-independence India, the film revolves around the unbreakable bond between a young stable boy and a horse.
The period drama opened to modest box office collections, earning ₹1.5 crore on day one, ₹1.3 crore on day two, and ₹1.85 crore on day three, according to early estimates. So far, the film has garnered ₹4.65 crore in India.
