Following the incident involving her husband, Farhan Azmi, who was charged after a confrontation at a supermarket in Candolim, North Goa, former actress Ayesha Takia has released several videos from that night. Through her Instagram Stories, Ayesha urged the public to "refrain from blaming" both Farhan and their 11-year-old son, whom she described as "the actual victims."
Ayesha Takia shares footage from the Goa incident
In one of the clips, a message indicated that the Goa Police had charged Abu Azmi's son for engaging in a fight, threatening local residents, and misusing authority. In her post, she stated, "The Goa Police have also taken action against these hooligans/bullies... Please avoid spreading falsehoods. I encourage everyone to view all the videos and witness the aggressor firsthand... do not blame Farhan and my 11-year-old, who are the true victims."

Additionally, she remarked, "Is Farhan misusing his power? Please observe the real bullies for yourselves. Listen to these unruly women hurling vile insults at my son and attempting to intimidate him. He is just 11 years old. At that moment, Farhan was already in the police vehicle. Who are these appalling, disgraceful women? It is shameful."

Ayesha shared another video depicting a woman confronting Farhan in the presence of police, stating, “Observe who the true bullies are. Notice how they address the officers.”
In a separate video, a woman was seen attempting to seize a bag from a police officer as she approached his vehicle. Ayesha commented, "Witness their conduct towards the police in their pursuit of the bag. With Farhan's licensed firearm... observe their blatant disrespect and the danger they pose even in the presence of law enforcement... Notice how she openly demands his weapon... which, as you can hear, is secured in a bag with the officers. He did not even draw it."
What happened so far in Goa incident, what Ayesha said
Regarding the ongoing situation in Goa, Ayesha provided an update. On Tuesday, the Goa police initiated a case against Farhan Azmi and others, charging them with engaging in a public altercation and disturbing the peace following an incident in Candolim village on Monday night. In a series of Instagram Stories, Ayesha revealed that it was her husband who called for assistance, only to find himself facing a complaint.
"It was a night of terror for our family until this morning... I just came across this post and felt compelled to share. I will provide more details in due course... My husband and son were subjected to severe bullying and were terrified for their lives as local Goan thugs surrounded, threatened, and harassed them for hours... They even assaulted the police officers who were summoned by my husband to ensure our son’s safety," she wrote. She further noted that the crowd "repeatedly insulted Farhan and my son for being from Maharashtra and for driving a large vehicle."
The Goa police, in a statement released on Tuesday, indicated that their control room received a call at 11:12 PM on Monday, reporting a fight occurring at a supermarket in Candolim (North Goa district). During the altercation, Farhan allegedly informed the opposing group that he was in possession of a licensed firearm, as stated by Calangute police inspector Paresh Naik to PTI.
When police arrived at the scene, they were informed that there had been a scuffle between two groups, including Farhan Azmi's, “ over a petty matter,” the official said. The police said a case was registered against Abu Farhan Azmi, Zeon Fernandes, Joseph Fernandes, Sham, and others under section 194 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
