Marvel Studios has announced the impressive cast for Avengers: Doomsday. Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, the film is set to debut on May 1, 2026, followed by its sequel, Avengers: Secret Wars, on May 7, 2027.

The eagerly awaited cast was revealed during a live stream event on Wednesday. The remarkable ensemble includes legendary actors from previous Avengers and X-Men films, along with prominent talents from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and the upcoming Fantastic Four: First Steps.

Towards the conclusion of Marvel’s livestream, Robert Downey Jr. made an appearance, confirming his return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe—not in the role of Iron Man, but as the notorious Victor Von Doom, also known as Doctor Doom.

Nevertheless, the announcement sparked excitement among fans, who noted the absence of key figures such as Tom Holland (Spider-Man) and Chris Evans (Captain America), who were not included in the cast lineup.
