Following the success of the blockbuster Jawan featuring Shah Rukh Khan, renowned director Atlee was reportedly preparing to collaborate with Salman Khan. The project, provisionally titled A6, was intended to feature either Rajinikanth or Kamal Haasan in a prominent role. Atlee had previously discussed his partnership with Salman Khan, indicating that they were nearing the completion of the script and were in the preparatory phase. However, recent reports suggest that the film has now been put on hold.

Atlee is said to be progressing with a new venture starring Allu Arjun. In the meantime, Masala.com has reported that the film with Salman Khan has been shelved, although the director has yet to provide any official comment on this matter. Atlee talks about his next with Salman Khan
Atlee recently mentioned that he is nearing completion of the script and that a significant announcement will be forthcoming.
He stated, "A6 requires considerable time and effort. We are nearly finished with the script and are currently in the preparation phase. A remarkable announcement will be made soon, with divine blessings."
When inquired about Salman potentially starring in the film, the director hinted at this possibility, asserting that "it will be the proudest film of our nation."
Atlee expressed, "I assure you, the casting will astonish everyone. What you suspect is indeed accurate, but the true surprise lies ahead. I do not wish to sound arrogant, yet I believe this will be the most significant film for our nation. We seek your blessings, so please keep us in your prayers. The casting process is nearing completion and will be finalized in a few weeks. An exciting announcement will be made shortly."
In the meantime, following his collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan on Jawan, Atlee has joined forces with Varun Dhawan for the film Baby John, which also features Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi.
