Television actor Aasif Sheikh, widely recognized for his performance in the series Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!, recently experienced a collapse while filming in Dehradun. The actor has since released a statement clarifying the incident and offering an update regarding his health.
Aasif Sheikh issues a statement
Reflecting on the incident, Aasif remarked, "I began to experience numbness in my foot, which was exacerbated by sciatica pain." Providing an update on his condition, he stated, "I was transported to Mumbai in a wheelchair, and I have been advised to remain on complete bed rest. I arrived here on the 18th, and since then, I have been recuperating while receiving treatment. I believe I will require another week of rest, and I am hopeful to return in front of the camera soon."
Aasif was in Dehradun filming a demanding fight sequence for a well-known series when he fell ill and collapsed on set. A source informed Zoom, "The filming was strenuous and involved intense fight scenes. During one of these scenes, Aasif suddenly felt unwell and collapsed. After receiving initial medical care, he was promptly transported to Mumbai for further treatment."
