About Aasif, Panchayat

Aasif portrayed the character of Ganesh, the husband of Raveena, in the first and third seasons of the web series Panchayat. In one notable scene, he assumes the role of a groom at a wedding in Phulera, where he insists on receiving a rotating chair that belongs to Sachiv, played by Jitendra. He goes so far as to threaten to cancel the wedding, compelling the villagers to persuade Sachiv to relinquish his chair as a gesture of goodwill.
