Ashish Chanchlani got caught up in some drama after showing up on Samay Raina's India's Got Latent. With the Supreme Court giving the green light for Ranveer Allahbadia to get back to his show, Ashish decided to hop on Instagram and drop his first video message for his fans during all this buzz.
Ashish's latest video following the India’s Got Latent controversy
On Monday, Ashish posted a heartfelt video on Instagram, asking his fans to keep him and his family in their thoughts and prayers. He got a bit emotional while talking and said, "Hey friends, how's it going? I've seen your messages, and I know what's happening. I thought about sharing a story with you, but now I'm not sure what to say. We'll get through this situation; we've faced tough times before, and we'll come out of this with new lessons."
Ashish is asking his fans to show their support
He also encouraged his fans to back him up when he starts sharing content again, saying, "I just ask you all to keep my family and me in your thoughts and prayers. When I return, my work might be a bit scattered, but I hope you'll still support me. I’ll put in the effort, just like I always have. Just make sure to take care of yourselves, everyone."
Everything you need to know about the debate
Ranveer Allahbadia stirred up some drama during his guest spot on Samay Raina's India's Got Latent when he asked a contestant, "Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once to make it stop forever?" While the audience laughed it off, the comment didn’t sit well with some politicians and social media users, leading to backlash and multiple FIRs against Ranveer, Samay, Ashish Chanchlani, and Apoorva Mukhija.
In the wake of the controversy, Ranveer issued an apology, and Samay took down all episodes of India's Got Latent from YouTube. Initially, the Supreme Court had banned them from releasing new episodes, but on Monday, they lifted the ban, allowing Ranveer to continue his podcast, The Ranveer Show, with certain conditions.
