Asha Negi on her journey from TV to OTT
During a conversation with us, Asha revealed the reason she had to unlearn while transitioning from television to OTT space. "A lot of unlearning had to happen. I started with television and whatever I had learned was from television. So when you shift to OTT or films, you have to unlearn a lot of things. Television karte karte aap monotonous ho jaate ho (Monotony sets in while doing television), (there are) same things and the reactions are different," she told OTTplay.
However, Asha feels an actor needs to work hard on their performance in the web space. "But isme you have to up your performance game. OTT, especially, has actors from all mediums - television and films. You have such amazing actors. So, unlearning was difficult for me. Learning was still easy but unlearning was where it was a little difficult," added Negi. That said, the actress stated that she is happy about the way things happened to her.
