As reported by Pinkvilla, the leading female character in The Ba***ds of Bollywood is as captivating as the two male protagonists, Lakshya and Raghav Juyal. Aryan Khan and his team have consistently aimed to feature emerging talent rather than well-established stars, which has led them to select Sahher Bambba, known for her role in Pal Pal Dil Ke Pass. A source close to the project stated, "Lakshya and Sahher Bambba are integral to the extensive cast of Aryan Khan's series, as he is keen on introducing new actors to the industry, which is why he has cast both Lakshya and Sahher."

The Ba***ds of Bollywood is produced by Gauri Khan, with Bonnie Jain and Akshat Verma as executive producers. Aryan Khan serves as the creator and director, while Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan are credited as co-creators. The show is written by Aryan Khan, Bilal Siddiqi, and Manav Chauhan and is produced under Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. in association with Netflix.
