In light of the ongoing controversy involving the Babbar family, which escalated following Prateik Babbar's choice to omit his father, Raj Babbar, from his wedding to Priya Banerjee, Aarya Babbar has posted a throwback photo with his siblings, Prateik and Juhi, in celebration of Siblings Day.

On Thursday, Aarya posted a sentimental photograph on Instagram that included himself, Prateik, and their sister Juhi. This throwback image showcases a delightful moment where the three siblings are radiating joy and relishing their time together.

“Apne to Apne hote hai (heart emoji) {Family is family, after all} PS: Ukhaad lo jo Ukhaadna hai {Do whatever you want},” he captioned the post.

Fans expressed their admiration for Aarya's nostalgic photo featuring his siblings, with some questioning what might have transpired over time.

"Such a beautiful family," one commenter noted, while another remarked, "This is the only truth that remains with you." A fan also expressed, "Your kindness continues to amaze me. My best wishes are always with you and your family."

Juhi similarly took to Instagram to post a throwback image alongside her two brothers. In her caption, she stated, "Raj Babbar Ji Ke Teeno Bacche (Raj Babbar's three children)... JUHI AARYA PRATEIK... A FACT NOBODY CAN CHANGE."

The conflict within the family became apparent when Prateik married Priya Banerjee on February 14, choosing not to invite the Babbar family to the ceremony. Raj Babbar initially married Nadira Babbar in 1975, with whom he has two children, Juhi Babbar and Arya Babbar. He subsequently married Smita Patil in 1983, and they welcomed their son, Prateik Babbar, in 1986. Tragically, Smita passed away later that year due to complications during childbirth. Raj and Nadira eventually reconciled a few years afterward.

In a subsequent interview with The Times of India, Prateik disclosed that he has adopted the name 'Prateik Smita Patil.' He expressed, “I am unconcerned about the consequences. What matters to me is how I feel when I hear that name. I want to be completely and exclusively linked to my mother (Smita Patil), her name, and her legacy. I believe no other name should overshadow that legacy, if you understand my point. It should solely represent her name and her legacy. That is my aspiration. I aim to emulate my mother, not my father.”

In response to Prateik’s choice to alter his surname, Aarya stated to Hindustan Times, “I must emphasize that Smita ma is our mother as well. The name he chooses to keep or discard is entirely his decision. Tomorrow, if I decide to change my name from Aarya Babbar to just Aarya, or even Rajesh, I will still remain a Babbar, won't I? You can change your name, but you cannot change your identity.”
