
Aruna Irani Provides Recovery Update After Bangkok Injury

Actor Aruna Irani's fans went wild when a video of her arriving at Mumbai airport in a wheelchair, crutches in hand, popped up online. She’s calmed everyone down by saying she’s recovering and can’t wait to get back to her passion.
In a chat with an online media, the actress, who’s been relying on a wheelchair because of a broken foot, shared details about her fall in Bangkok and her journey to healing.
She's on the mend
Aruna reassures everyone, saying, "I'm doing great now," easing the worries of fans who were concerned about her health.
"The cast will be off soon, and I’ll be all set in a week. I really appreciate all the love and support from my fans and well-wishers. It truly means a lot to me," she shares.
The actress goes on to say, "I want to let my fans know not to stress about me. I fractured my foot after a fall in Bangkok and had a viral infection. Juggling both was a bit challenging, but I'm all good now. I really love my fans and want to thank them for their concern."
Updating everyone on her recovery, the Beta star mentions, "I should be able to walk again in about 10 days. The cast will come off in a week, and then I’ll start walking slowly. Until then, I’m just taking it easy at my place in Mumbai."
In her video at the airport
Aruna had a bit of a mishap in Bangkok a couple of weeks back. On Wednesday, a video popped up online showing her arriving at Mumbai airport post-treatment, in a wheelchair and using crutches. In the clip, you can hear her singing the classic tune Haal Kaisa Hai Janaab Ka from the movie Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi.
Aruna opened up about her injury, saying, “I was just strolling in Bangkok when I lost my footing and took a tumble. That’s how I got hurt.”
When it comes to her video, she mentioned, “In that clip, I was all smiles and singing. I’m still doing that now as I recover. For now, I’m just taking it easy at home and not going out.”
Aruna made her debut in the entertainment world as a child star in the 1961 movie Gunga Jumna, where she played the young version of Azra. She later featured in Anpadh, taking on the role of a younger Mala Sinha. She’s well-known for her performances in films like Farz, Bobby, Fakira, Sargam, Red Rose, Love Story, and Rocky, among many others.
