Arshad Warsi says Prabhas was like a 'joker' in Kalki 2898 AD; admits to disliking Nag Ashwin's sci-fi epic

Nag Ashwin's Kalki 2898 AD is the biggest blockbuster of this year so far. However, Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi isn't a big fan of the sci-fi epic, starring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan. On Unfiltered By Samdish, Arshad admitted that he didn't like Kalki 2898 AD. While he liked Sr Bachchan's performance as Ashwatthama, the actor felt Prabhas was like a 'joker' in the movie.

In his recent interview, Arshad Warsi was asked about the latest film he didn't like. To this, the Bollywood actor named Kalki 2898 AD. Despite not liking the Nag Ashwin directorial, Warsi lauded Big B's performance.
"Maine Kalki dekhi, mujhe toh nahi acchi lagi. Mujhe bahut takleef hoti hai jab… Amit ji was unbelievable. I can't understand that man. I swear if we got the power he has, life ban jaye. He's unreal," said Arshad.
He continued to critique the film and added, "Prabhas, I am really sad, why was he… he was like a joker. Why? I want to see a Mad Max. I want to see Mel Gibson over there. Tumne usko kya bana dia yaar. Kyu karte ho aisa mujhe nahi samajh mein aata?" And while Arshad didn't like Kalki 2898, he enjoyed watching Rajkummar Rao's Srikanth and called him a 'great actor'.

Kalki 2898 AD's Hindi version will drop on Netflix. August 22 has been confirmed as the OTT release date of the Nag Ashwin film. The streamer made an official announcement with a note that read, "The STARS have aligned Get ready to witness the epic saga of Kalki2898AD, coming to Netflix on 22nd August in Hindi! (sic)."
