Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal was married to model Mehr Jesia for over 20 years. They got married in 1998 and went their separate ways in 2019. They are blessed with two daughters, Myra Rampal and Mahikaa Rampal. Five years after their divorce, Arjun recently spoke about his failed marriage with Mehr. On The Ranveer Show, Rampal reflected on the failure of his first marriage. He even took responsibility for things that went wrong between him and his ex-wife, Mehr.

On Ranveer Allahbadia's podcast, Arjun Rampal said he came from a broken home. The actor added, "For me to not have succeeded in marriage was something that I really had to look back upon and see how did this go wrong and how did I not see... then I realised why it went wrong and what were the things, and I take responsibility for it."
Having said that, Arjun mentioned that he was 24 years old when he first got married and that he feels that it was too early. "You're too young, and there's a lot to learn and experience. You have to become mature. Guys mature far slower than women do. It's a proven fact that we are idiots," stated Arjun.
The actor also opined that if men wish to have a successful marriage, they need to wait it out. He further revealed why he is not legally married to Gabriella Demetriades, with whom he is blessed with two sons - Arik and Arav.
Arjun believes marriage is just a 'piece of paper' and a couple is only legally bound in some way because of that. And he also feels that it could change two people's attitudes towards each other.

On a concluding note, Arjun revealed that his ex-wife Mehr, daughter Myra, and Mahikaa bond well with his girlfriend Gabriella. He stated that today, all of them are very close and loving towards each other. For those who are unaware, Arjun and Gabriella met through a common friend in 2018 and later started dating each other.
