Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor's recent split from Malaika Arora attracted significant media attention. Recently, while serving as the host for the Showsha Reel Awards, he humorously remarked on the advantages of being single, suggesting that it is beneficial for both himself and those around him.

Arjun Kapoor talks about being alone

Arjun humorously remarked that solitude is not necessarily a negative experience, stating, "Today, I may be on my own, and that's perfectly acceptable. Reflecting on solitude, I believe it can be beneficial for both you and me. It serves our interests well. I will receive the full payment for hosting alone, and you will have to endure less trivial chatter—I mean, there will be less conversation—since people's attention spans have diminished."

Arjun and Malaika relationship

Arjun and Malaika publicly acknowledged their relationship in 2018 and consistently shared affectionate moments from their vacations on social media. Their romance lasted for eight years, leading many fans to speculate about a potential marriage. However, in 2024, they decided to go their separate ways. Following the emergence of reports regarding their breakup, Arjun confirmed his single status while promoting his film Singham Again.

Nevertheless, the two appear to maintain a positive relationship. In February, Arjun made a guest appearance on Malaika's television show, India's Best Dancer vs Super Dancer. He attended to promote his film Mere Husband Ki Biwi, alongside Rakul Preet Singh and Bhumi Pednekar, and was visibly impressed by Malaika's dance performance. When asked to share his thoughts on her performance set to her iconic songs, he humorously remarked, "Meri bolti band ho chuki hai saalon se, main abhi bhi chup rehna chahta hoon," which translates to "My mouth has been shut for many years; I still prefer staying quiet," eliciting laughter from Malaika Arora. He further expressed, “But I want to say this: I have got a chance to hear all my favourite songs, which just show the career and the life that she has had.”

Arjun Kapoor’s upcoming films

Arjun's most recent appearance was in Mere Husband Ki Biwi, a film that did not achieve commercial success. He is set to appear next in the sequel to No Entry, which is being produced by his father, Boney Kapoor. The movie will feature Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh in prominent roles and is anticipated to be released later this year.
