Actor Arjun Kapoor is preparing for the premiere of his forthcoming film, Mere Husband Ki Biwi, which is set to be released in theatres this Friday. In a recent interview with News18, the actor shared his thoughts on what constitutes an 'ideal relationship.' Although Arjun has attracted attention for his association with Malaika Arora, he clarified last year that he is currently single.

What Arjun said

In the course of the conversation, Arjun expressed, "Good fortune to those present and those absent as well. What I seek from love at this moment is a companion with whom I can share my moments of silence, which holds great significance for me. Even when individuals occupy separate spaces, a connection can still exist without the necessity of constant verbal communication. The essence lies in sharing experiences almost unconsciously."

‘Love doesn’t mean staying together with the person all the time’

He further elaborated, stating, “There must be a sense of comfort and ease. One should look forward to returning and spending time with their partner after a long day. Love does not necessitate constant proximity. It is essential to genuinely desire to build a life together. Additionally, both individuals need to appreciate and understand each other's careers.”

This remark follows the actor's recent confirmation of his separation from Malaika Arora. The couple began their relationship in 2018 and frequently shared affectionate moments from their travels. During the promotional events for Singham Again in 2024, while addressing an audience, chants of Malaika’s name echoed. With a smile, Arjun replied, "Nahi, abhi single hoon. Relax karo." (No, I'm single now. Relax.)

Mere Husband Ki Biwi features Bhumi Pednekar, Rakul Preet Singh, Dino Morea, Harsh Gujral, and Shakti Kapoor. The film is presented by Vashu Bhagnani & Puja Films, produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, and Deepshikha Deshmukh, and is scheduled for release in theatres on February 21.
