Ed Sheeran keeps amazing his fans with his down-to-earth vibe and live shows. Right now, he's in India for The Mathematics Tour and just wrapped up two gigs in Bengaluru over the weekend. Recently, he was seen hanging out with singer Arijit Singh in Jiaganj, Murshidabad, West Bengal. The duo took a scooter ride in the evening, leaving many locals stunned to see their favorite star out and about without any security.

Arijit was spotted cruising around on a scooter with Ed Sheeran riding shotgun in some videos making the rounds on Instagram and X (formerly Twitter). They were joined by a couple of friends, each on their own scooters, as they enjoyed a ride through the town.

A piece in The Times of India mentioned that the two hung out for nearly five hours, cruising along Jiaganj's dusty streets—from the lively Phulmore to the quieter banks of the Bhagirathi—on Singh's bike, with Sheeran riding behind. They hopped on a motorboat at Shibtala ghat for an hour-long journey on the Bhagirathi. The local DIG verified that Ed was indeed in town and asked for no extra security.

Ed totally caught fans off guard with a surprise gig on Church Street in Bengaluru. But things took a turn when the police stepped in and the whole scene ended up going viral online. During the concert, he also brought out Shilpa Rao, and they teamed up to sing Chuttamalle, with Arijit handling the Telugu parts. Before this, he had already rocked Hyderabad and Chennai, where he teamed up with the legendary AR Rahman for a special version of the classic Urvasi track. Next up, he’s set to hit Shillong on February 12 and Delhi NCR on February 15.
