Saif Ali Khan recently shared details about a terrifying incident that occurred at his Bandra residence on January 16, 2025. The Bollywood actor was attacked by an intruder, sustaining six stab wounds while attempting to protect his family, including his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan and their children, Taimur and Jeh. In a recent interview, Saif discussed his son Taimur's response during this traumatic event.

In a conversation with Delhi Times, Saif Ali Khan recounted the harrowing moments following the attack. After he was stabbed, the entire family, along with some household staff, descended downstairs.

"Kareena was urgently calling for a rickshaw, a cab, or any form of transport. I mentioned that I was experiencing some pain and felt something was amiss with my back. She insisted that I go to the hospital while she would head to her sister's place. She was making frantic calls, but no one was available. We exchanged glances, and I reassured her, saying, ‘I’m fine. I’m not going to die.’ Taimur also inquired, ‘Are you going to die?’ I assured him, ‘No,’" he recounted.

Saif further noted that Taimur remained remarkably composed and expressed a desire to accompany him to the hospital. The actor found solace in simply observing his son. "I didn’t want to go alone. My wife sent him, knowing how he would support me. Perhaps it wasn’t... at that moment, the best decision, but it brought me comfort," Khan added.

On the professional front, Saif Ali Khan is set to appear in Robbie Grewal's film, Jewel Thief, with the first official teaser recently unveiled. He made his first public appearance following the knife attack at the Next on Netflix event in Mumbai. In this film, he will star alongside Jaideep Ahlawat, which is expected to premiere on streaming platforms soon.
