Since Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez finalized their divorce last month, speculation regarding Affleck's close relationship with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, has intensified. Following an exclusive report by Daily Mail featuring footage of an intimate moment between Affleck and Garner, sources indicate that Lopez feels "betrayed" by their increasing closeness.

The video captures Affleck affectionately placing his arm around Garner's lower waist during a paintball outing in the vicinity of Los Angeles. The former couple, who share three children, were enjoying the day with two of their teenage kids.

"[JLo] viewed the paintballing images at the same time as everyone else, and naturally, it raises questions about their past together," a source close to the singer informed Daily Mail. "Her friends have begun to question the nature of the relationship between Jen [Garner] and Ben."

Just a few months prior, Affleck and Lopez were still married, with Lopez publicly supporting him through various personal challenges. "She will undoubtedly feel betrayed, as she dedicated significant time to supporting Ben during his difficulties, especially during a tumultuous year as their marriage unravelled," the source continued.

"The speed at which he has begun to spend more time with Garner has only heightened her existing concerns regarding his relationship with her during their marriage."

Nevertheless, their relationship reportedly encountered difficulties early on, even during their honeymoon in Italy. By 2024, Ben Affleck had vacated their $68 million residence in Beverly Hills, opting for a rental situated just a few blocks from Garner’s home.

A source close to Affleck informed the Daily Mail, “Ben is neither Jen’s boyfriend nor her husband any longer. John [Miller] is her partner, and she is content in her current relationship. Ben’s friends genuinely believe that if Jen and John were to part ways, he would reunite with her without hesitation.”
