Following the controversy surrounding Ranveer Allahbadia's comment on India’s Got Latent, everyone involved in the video, including Samay Raina and Apoorva Mukhija, has been pretty quiet on social media. However, a new video has popped up on Reddit showing YouTuber-turned-actor Apoorva causing a scene at Sabrina Carpenter’s concert in Paris on Monday.

Apoorva Mukhija is caught up in controversy at the Sabrina Carpenter concert

A Reddit user shared a TikTok clip of Apoorva, claiming it was taken at Sabrina’s latest concert. In the footage, she’s seen having a great time, dancing and lip-syncing to the music, but her use of camera flashes seemed to annoy those around her. At one point, a security guard is spotted shining a flashlight at her, telling her to return to her seat.

The video features a caption in French that translates to: “POV: We were at the concert, she was filming her music video... The security guard told her to sit down, but she didn’t care... Big flash in the face.” The clip wraps up with Apoorva filming herself saying something unclear, but she finishes with, “Main thappad mar doongi usko (I will slap them),” looking quite annoyed.

The Reddit user who shared the video mentioned, “Other fans in the TikTok comments said she got upset when they asked her to lower her voice and stop using the flash. One person even said she nearly hit someone. Security had to intervene and tell her to go back to her seat because she kept wandering around filming with the flash on.”

People online were not pleased with Apoorva’s actions. One commenter said, “She’s tarnishing the reputation of our country and its people.” Another added, “Ew. Just ew. I’m cringing for her. We don’t claim her, respectfully.” A Redditor even remarked, “Typical trash behavior. Let’s see how PR spins this, claiming she’s just expressing herself and it’s the patriarchal system holding her back.”

Apoorva recently found herself in the middle of a controversy

Apoorva has largely been absent from social media since the controversy surrounding India’s Got Latent. For those who might not know, she was a panellist on the show hosted by Samay. After Ranveer asked a question about parents and sex, many viewers found it inappropriate.

As a result, several FIRs were filed against Apoorva, Samay, Ranveer, and other influencers who appeared in that episode. She has recently given her statement to the Maharashtra Cyber Cell. Following the backlash, Apoorva also decided to unfollow everyone on Instagram. On a brighter note, she just made her debut in the Netflix film Nadaaniyan alongside Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor.
