Social media influencer and actress Apoorva Mukhija, widely recognized as The Rebel Kid, has made a return to Instagram following criticism for her remarks on Samay Raina's show India's Got Latent. She has since delighted her followers with a new video.

In her latest video, shared on Wednesday, Apoorva greeted her audience with her signature phrase, “Hello my cute little red flags.” Additionally, she announced that she would be releasing her first video since the controversy surrounding India's Got Latent on YouTube later that day. The post's caption stated, “THE story time today 6PM on YouTube.”

In response to her video, actor and content creator Kusha Kapila remarked, “Make the greatest comeback ever (clapping hands emojis).” Actor and entrepreneur Parul Gulati also shared her thoughts, stating, “Welcome back girl.” Fans expressed their enthusiasm for Apoorva’s return, with one comment exclaiming, “Let’s gooo... comeback like never before.” Another fan noted, “I missed hearing this so much.” A third comment read, “This is going to be the greatest comeback.” One fan added, “Screaming... dying for storytime,” while another declared, “The queen is back with a bang,” and yet another stated, “The comeback everyone was waiting for is finally here.”

Previously, Apoorva addressed the threats she received following the controversy surrounding India's Got Latent in an Instagram post. She included a trigger warning, stating, “This post contains mentions of acid attacks, rape threats, and death threats.” Apoorva shared a series of screenshots showcasing abusive comments and threats, captioning the post, “And that’s not even 1%.” In another post, she expressed, “Don’t take away the story from the storyteller,” without further elaboration.

In February, Apoorva was a guest on Samay Raina’s show, which ignited significant backlash after Ranveer Allahbadia made inappropriate remarks about parents and sex. Numerous complaints were lodged in Mumbai seeking action against him, Apoorva, and Samay. Apoorva faced accusations of making an objectionable comment during the YouTube episode. In the wake of the controversy, she removed all her social media posts and unfollowed everyone. Now, fans are eagerly anticipating her full return.

Apoorva Mukhija’s recent projects include her role in the Karan Johar-produced film Nadaaniyan, where she portrayed Khushi Kapoor’s best friend. This film marked the Bollywood debut of Ibrahim Ali Khan. Although the film received mixed reviews, Apoorva's performance was well-received by fans. Nadaaniyan is currently available for streaming on Netflix.
