Actor Anushka Sharma recently took a short weekend getaway to Alibaug with her husband, cricketer Virat Kohli. Upon her return to Mumbai early on Monday morning, she was seen travelling alone, without Virat accompanying her.

Anushka has returned to Mumbai

The couple travelled to Alibaug on Sunday; however, it appears that Anushka returned to the city without her spouse. She was seen arriving back in Mumbai early on Monday morning.

On that Monday, Anushka was photographed arriving at the Gateway of India by speedboat. For her casual excursion, she chose a comfortable outfit featuring a black t-shirt and white pyjamas. To enhance her relaxed appearance, she accessorized with fashionable sunglasses and carried a stylish black bag.

A video that has emerged on social media depicts Anushka swiftly entering the hotel situated across from the Gateway of India while avoiding the photographers who warmly greeted her with a "good morning." In her haste, she later acknowledged their presence with a gesture of thanks, indicating for them to cease taking her photographs.

During her departure to Alibaug with Virat, she was later seen returning to the city alone.

The weekend getaway

On Sunday, Anushka and Virat made their way from Mumbai to Alibaug. Numerous videos and photographs of the couple surfaced on various social media platforms. In one particular clip, the pair exited their vehicle at the Gateway of India and proceeded towards the jetty, where they were met by the paparazzi. While awaiting the boat, Anushka and Virat appeared to be deeply engaged in conversation, with Virat placing his hand on her shoulder as they interacted. For their travel day, Anushka chose to wear a white T-shirt layered beneath a striped blue shirt, complemented by black shorts and red footwear, along with dark sunglasses. Virat opted for a black ensemble, paired with a white cap and matching shoes.
