Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap's daughter Aaliyah Kashyap conveyed her shock and grief regarding the Pahalgam terror attack, sharing that she had been to the same spot with Imtiaz Ali’s daughter, Ida Ali just two days before the event.

Ida and Aaliyah, who have a strong relationship, took to social media to convey their shock about the event. They had recently been on a trip to Kashmir and had also posted a number of pictures from their time in Pahalgam. They were vacationing with their respective partners.

Aaliyah posted on her Instagram Story and stated, "This is crazy; we were just here 2 days ago. Praying for all the victims, their families, and all the people affected. This is heartbreaking. "

Aaliyah was accompanied by her husband Shane Gregoire, while Ida was with her boyfriend Krish Agrawal.

Ida also honored the victims of the assault, posting a heartfelt message that expressed her condolences and reflections for those impacted by the unfortunate event. She stated, “My heart goes out to all the victims and their families. 

They had been at the same place vacationing together a few days prior. They even uploaded a YouTube video discussing their experience in Kashmir. Previously, Aaliyah had described her trip to Pahalgam and Kashmir as 'Heaven on Earth. ’

About the Pahalgam terror attack

On Tuesday, tourists were enjoying their vacations when unidentified assailants opened fire on them in Pahalgam's Baisaran, Jammu and Kashmir. The attack took place at approximately 3 pm on Tuesday, prompting security forces to rush to the scene upon hearing the gunfire. Twenty-six individuals, primarily civilians, lost their lives, and 20 others sustained injuries.

After becoming aware of the tragedy, Prime Minister Narendra Modi strongly denounced the act. He posted on X, “Condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. I pray that the injured recover at the earliest. All possible assistance is being provided to those affected. Those behind this heinous act will be brought to justice. . . they will not be spared! Their evil agenda will never succeed. Our resolve to fight terrorism is unshakable and will only grow stronger. ” PM Modi also truncated his official visit to Saudi Arabia and returned to Delhi on Wednesday.
