Aaliyah Kashyap, the daughter of Anurag Kashyap, is set to become engaged to Shane Gregoire in Mumbai on Tuesday. The paparazzi were present to capture Anurag's arrival at the venue just moments before the couple.

The filmmaker's happiness was evident. He was observed sharing a light-hearted moment with the photographers gathered outside the venue. When asked to pose for a photograph, he humorously remarked, “Abe yaar, Hosh nahi hai mereko chaar din se (I am not in my senses for the past four days).”

For the festivities, Anurag chose a parrot green embroidered kurta that showcased an open bandhgala collar, adorned with button closures at the neckline, full-length sleeves, and a fitted silhouette. He complemented this attire with a full-sleeved jacket that had an open front, embellished with gilded gold buttons and a front pocket. To finalize his ensemble, he wore matching silk pants, black dress shoes, and sunglasses.

Anurag's ex-wife and actress Kalki Koechlin was spotted arriving at the event, exuding elegance in a green lehenga. Aaliyah's close friend and actress Khushi Kapoor was also present, adorned in her finest ethnic attire. Additionally, her rumoured partner, Jigra actor Vedang Raina, attended the festivities. Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali was also seen celebrating alongside his family.

About the couple

Aaliyah Kashyap is a prominent social media influencer who showcases various brands through her social media platforms and produces content for her YouTube channel. She met Shane via a dating application, and the two have been in a relationship for a considerable period.

The couple became engaged in Mumbai last year, announcing their engagement on Instagram in May 2023. Shane proposed to Aaliyah in Bali.
