Bollywood actress Anupriya Goenka, known for her roles in films such as Padmaavat, Tiger Zinda Hai, and War, recently shared her experiences in an interview with Siddharth Kannan. She discussed feeling "uncomfortable" due to the behavior of her co-actors during the filming of intimate scenes.

When co-star made Anupriya Goenka uncomfortable during intimate scene

When questioned about whether any actor had attempted to exploit her during intimate scenes, Anupriya disclosed that she had experienced this on two occasions. She explained, “In one instance, I wouldn’t characterize it as the person taking advantage of me; rather, there was an overwhelming excitement. I noticed that he was becoming overly excited, which is inappropriate. This made me feel somewhat violated and uncomfortable. These occurrences took place during kissing scenes. In another situation, I was dressed in attire that was not comfortable. I had anticipated that he, as a man, would understand that it is more appropriate to hold a woman by her waist in such scenes. However, he nearly placed his hands on my backside, which was unnecessary. He could have simply held my waist. I felt that was inappropriate.”

Anupriya further mentioned that while she could not confront the actor aggressively, she did request that he refrain from such behavior. She stated, “Afterward, I gently moved his hands up to my waist and instructed him to hold there instead of below. At that moment, I felt unable to question his actions, as he would likely have dismissed it as a mistake. I couldn’t confront him then. However, I did say, ‘In the next take, please don’t do this; instead, do that.’ He complied with my request. In kissing scenes, while a gentle kiss is acceptable, there are times when it becomes overwhelming.”
