Anupam Kher and Kirron Kher are one of the most loved veteran couples in the film industry. Today, August 26, they are celebrating their 39 years of marriage. Taking to his social media account, Anupam Ji shared a collage of old pictures to celebrate the special day. He also revealed the reason for posting old images for the last so many years.

A while ago, Anupam Kher took to his Instagram account and dropped a post consisting of a collage of some old snaps of the veteran couple from various events including their marriage.

Sharing the post, he wished her wife a happy 39th wedding anniversary. He wrote, "We need to take some fresh pics. I have been posting almost the same ones for the last so many years. But I think that is what happens with a marriage that lasts for a long time. Pics can get old but emotions are the same."

The veteran actor also wished Kirron a long and healthy life and wishes her to continue to be the same person that she is. "Vibrant and real. Love and prayers always. #MarriageAnniversary @kirronkhermp," concluded his caption. 

Their son Sikandar Kher commented, "Happy anniversary Maa and Dad ! To love" Apart from him, Chunky Pandey wrote, "Happy Happy Anniversary" and Rakesh Roshan said, "Kiron & Anupam anniversary greetings & happiness always".

Anupam Kher's work front 

Kher will be seen in Kangana Ranaut's Emergency. The film features the actress in the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and is scheduled to be released in theaters on September 6, 2024.

On the other hand, Anupam Kher's directorial Tanvi: The Great went on floors in Mumbai recently. A recent Pinkvilla report suggested that Game of Thrones fame Iain Glen joined Anupam Kher on the sets of Tanvi: The Great in Mumbai.

The source revealed that Glen will be playing a substantial role in the film. Apart from him, the team has Oscar-winning MM Keeravani to do the music and Academy Award winner Resul Pookuty as a sound designer.

Meanwhile, apart from these, the veteran actor will next be seen as an actor in the YRF Production, Vijay 69.
