Actor Anupam Kher expressed his confusion after his X (formerly Twitter) account was locked, despite his consistent adherence to the platform's rules. Following the restoration of his account, Anupam composed a concise message to X owner Elon Musk inquiring about the reasons behind the account's suspension.

Anupam provided a screenshot indicating that his X account had been locked. The message included, “Your account has been locked due to X receiving a compliant Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Notice regarding content uploaded to your X account.”

The notice further explained, “Under the DMCA, copyright holders have the right to inform X that a user has violated their copyrighted materials. Upon receiving a legitimate DMCA notice, X is obligated to remove the specified content.”

Anupam expressed, "Dear X! Although my account has been reinstated, I was taken aback to find it locked. I have been a member of this platform since September 2007 and have consistently adhered to the rules of #X (formerly Twitter)."

The individual expressed their disbelief regarding the enforcement of social media copyright regulations, stating it seemed somewhat unreasonable. They inquired about which specific post of theirs was deemed to have violated the established rules, concluding with gratitude. As of now, there has been no response from Elon Musk to the tweet.

Anupam's films

Anupam was last seen in Kangana Ranaut's film Emergency, which portrayed the political upheaval during the Emergency period of 1975-77, enforced by then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. He has recently announced his upcoming film, which is yet to be titled, alongside Prabhas. This project, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, will represent Anupam's 544th film.

Additionally, Anupam will feature in Vikram Bhatt's latest directorial venture, Tumko Meri Kasam. The film also stars Ishwak Singh, Adah Sharma, and Esha Deol in significant roles. According to Vikram, the narrative is loosely based on the life of Dr. Ajay Murdia, the founder of Indira IVF, a prominent chain of fertility clinics across the country.
